Ann E. Hickox

Ann E. Hickox integrates expertise in auditory neuroscience with extensive experience in regulatory submissions and clinical development for rare diseases. They served as a Senior Scientist at Decibel Therapeutics from 2016 to 2020 and held several positions at Akouos, including Director and Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Development Advisor from 2021 to 2022. Ann is currently a Senior Director at Eli Lilly and Company, where they focus on regulatory and clinical development. They have also contributed to academia as a Graduate Researcher at Massachusetts Eye and Ear and as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and Fellow at Purdue University and Northwestern University, respectively. Ann holds a PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and other degrees in Speech and Hearing Sciences and French.
