Chirag Apte is currently a Research Advisor at Eli Lilly and Company, a position held since 2025. Prior to this role, Chirag worked as a Research Scientist at X-Chem, Inc. from 2023 to 2025, and completed a tenure as a Visiting Graduate Student at Scripps Research Institute in 2019. Chirag also gained valuable experience as an intern in Analytical Chemistry at Bayer Pharmaceuticals in 2015. Chirag earned a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Toronto in 2022 and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from The University of British Columbia, completed in 2017.
