Christopher Rito has over three decades of experience in the field of chemistry, currently serving as an Associate Senior Organic Chemist at Eli Lilly since January 1992. Rito has held various positions within Eli Lilly, including Senior Principal Chemist in Peptide Technologies and Consultant Chemist in the same area from November 2019 to July 2024. Additionally, Rito expanded professional endeavors by taking on the role of middle school theology teacher at Saints Francis and Clare Catholic School starting in July 2024. Rito earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Kalamazoo College and a Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, following completion of a college preparatory diploma at Detroit Catholic Central High School.
