Ciara McCarthy

Ciara McCarthy possesses a diverse background in retail and finance, with experience in customer service and accounts payable across several organizations. Beginning as a Retail Assistant at Swamp fashion from May 2019 to January 2020, Ciara maintained high customer service standards and assisted with stock replenishment. Following this, a Sales Assistant role at Dunnes Stores from February 2020 to September 2022 further developed communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment. Ciara also served as a VAT Intern and later as a Sr. Specialist in P2P Invoicing at Eli Lilly and Company, where responsibilities included completing monthly VAT reports and processing vendor invoices. Most recently, from October 2022 to October 2023, Ciara worked as a Finance Graduate at Cognex Corporation, managing high-volume invoicing and payment processing. Currently, as a Clerical Officer at Cork City Council since October 2023, Ciara is responsible for claim handling and database management. Ciara holds a degree in Business/Commerce from Munster Technological University and a distinction in Business/Commerce from Cork College of Commerce.
