Dan Schmitt is currently the Senior Director of Medicinal Chemistry at Eli Lilly, where they lead a medicinal chemistry group. Previously, Dan served as a Principal Scientist, Senior Scientist, and Senior Principal Scientist at Pfizer, and held a CPRIT Postdoctoral Fellow position at the University of Texas at Austin. Dan is pursuing a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill while also working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Boston University.
