Danielle Lenz

Danielle Lenz currently serves as the Executive Director of Target Discovery for Lilly Gene Therapy at Eli Lilly and Company, a position held since June 2023, after previously functioning as Sr. Director in the same department. Prior experience includes a significant tenure at Akouos from September 2018 to October 2025, where Danielle Lenz held various roles including Sr. Director and Head of Target Discovery, Director of AAV Molecular Biology, Principal Scientist, and Senior Scientist. Prior to Akouos, Danielle Lenz was a post-doctoral fellow at Harvard University in the Laboratory of Prof. Albert Edge from April 2013 to September 2018. Education includes a PhD in Human Molecular Genetics and Biochemistry, a Master's in Human/Medical Genetics, and a Bachelor's in General Biology, all earned at Tel Aviv University. Danielle Lenz also served as a Sergeant in the Israeli Military Intelligence - Unit 8200 from March 2002 to December 2003.
