Deepti Thete

Deepti Thete has a solid background in microbiology and extensive experience in research and project management within the pharmaceutical and academic sectors. Holding both a Master of Sciences and a Bachelor of Sciences in Microbiology from the University of Pune, Deepti began as a Research Assistant with the Biodiversity Project and later transitioned to Cornell University as a Research Support Specialist in the Department of Plant Pathology and Plant Microbe Biology. After this, Deepti progressed through various roles at Eli Lilly and Company, ultimately serving as Associate Director in Diabetes Global Medical Affairs Project Management while also contributing as a Consultant. Current projects focus on novel druggable targets for cancer, involving advanced pharmacological studies and immuno-oncology research. Additionally, Deepti's tenure as a Research Associate at Indiana University involved investigating viral infection mechanisms.
