Derek Leishman

Vice President, Translational and Quantitative Toxicology

Derek Leishman is an experienced pharmacologist and educator with a background in electrophysiology and translational toxicology. They served as an Electrophysiologist at Marion Merrell Dow and spent over a decade at Pfizer, where they advanced from Scientist to Research Fellow. Currently, Derek holds positions as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and as an Adjunct Professor at Michigan State University. They have also contributed to the Safety Pharmacology Society, where they were a member and served as President. Derek earned a BSc(Hons) and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen.
