Douglas Marron is currently an Expert Specialist in Clinical Laboratory Sciences at Eli Lilly Company in Little Island, Cork. They graduated from Munster Technological University in 2023 with a BSc in Analytical Chemistry with Quality Assurance, achieving a 2:1 classification. During their studies, they developed an LC-MS/MS based analytical method to measure 25-Hydroxyvitamin-D3 in plasma samples and received a first-class honor for their project work. Prior to their current role, Douglas served as a Laboratory Technician at Metabolomic Diagnostics Ltd. and led a distribution team at Glenilen Farm.
