Erik Orstead, MCR, possesses extensive experience in real estate and facilities planning, having served as Global Portfolio Manager at Eli Lilly and Company from February 2001 to August 2024. In this role, Erik managed a diverse real estate portfolio comprising 25 million square feet across 76 countries, focusing on transaction and construction management, with a significant emphasis on the Americas and EU. Erik was also responsible for real estate due diligence in corporate mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Erik held the position of Sr. Director of Strategic Real Estate and Facilities Planning at Beam, Longest and Neff, LLC from May 1994 to January 2001 and served as Deputy Chief Environmental Analyst, handling NEPA documentation for various transportation projects. Erik earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Purdue University between 1989 and 1993.
