Francesca Doonan is the Associate Director of Global Scientific Communications at Eli Lilly and Company. They previously served as a Senior Manager of Global Scientific Communications at the same organization and held various roles in scientific communications within Eli Lilly. Francesca earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Retinal Cell Biology from University College Cork, where they also completed a Biological Science Degree in Biochemistry with 1st Class Honours. Prior to their current position, Francesca worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UCC and managed numerous EU projects and initiatives at University College Cork.
