Gary Brandt

Gary Brandt is the Executive Director of Computational Chemistry at Eli Lilly and Company, where they lead innovative drug discovery efforts. With over a decade of experience, Gary has specialized in various therapeutic areas, including CNS disorders and inflammation, while managing teams of up to 20 individuals across global settings. Prior roles include Director at DICE Therapeutics and Research Scientist at Theravance Biopharma, where they contributed to multiple drug development candidates, including several JAK inhibitors. Gary holds a Ph.D. in Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Kansas and has also been involved in significant research projects at academic institutions and biopharmaceutical companies.
