George Luu

George Luu is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the field of biochemistry and cell biology. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company since October 2025, George previously contributed to the development of novel pain therapeutics at SiteOne Therapeutics, Inc. from July 2018 to October 2025. Prior roles include managing research in Dr. Hasenstaub’s lab at UCSF and supporting neurobiological research in Dr. Fields' lab, as well as foundational experiences at The Scripps Research Institute and UCSD Environmental Management. George holds a B.S. in Biochemistry/Cell Biology from UC San Diego.
