James Martinez

James Martinez is a board-certified psychiatrist with extensive experience in clinical psychiatry, psychiatric education, and psychiatric clinical research, currently serving as Vice President at Eli Lilly and Company. They have held several leadership roles within the company since 2009, including Associate Vice President and Vice President of Global/US Medical Affairs and Late Phase Development in Neuroscience. Previously, James was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, where they provided patient care and supervised medical students while conducting research on mood disorders. James earned their MD from The University of Texas Medical Branch and completed their residency in Psychiatry at the same institution. They hold a BA in Biology from Texas A&M University.
