Joel Lim

Joel Lim, MD, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in pediatric gastroenterology. They served as the Director of the Intestinal Rehabilitation and Nutrition Support Program at Children's Mercy Kansas City from 2010 to 2019 and held the position of Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. Currently, they are an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Georgetown University School of Medicine and a Staff Physician in Pediatric Gastroenterology at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. In addition, they are the Executive Medical Director for Early Phase Clinical Development at Eli Lilly and Company, with prior experience as Vice President at Nestlé Nutrition North America and Medical Director at Indiana University Health. They completed their medical education with an M.D. from the University of Santo Tomas and a Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at Indiana University/Riley Children's Hospital.
