Karin Bok is the Chief Scientific Officer of Infectious Diseases at Eli Lilly and Company, where they lead strategic initiatives in vaccine research and development. Karin served as the Deputy Director of the Office of Vaccines at the FDA, guiding the review and approval processes for new vaccines, and has extensive experience at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases in pandemic preparedness and vaccine development. Earlier in their career, Karin worked as a Research Assistant at the Argentine FDA, managing the cell culture testing division, and held various roles in animal science, including designing vaccines for animal pathogens. Karin earned a PhD in Virology and a Master's in Biochemistry from the University of Buenos Aires.
