Laurens Westerman

Laurens Westerman, MD PhD, is a dedicated professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Medical Neuroscience at Eli Lilly and Company. With a strong background in neuroscience and cardiovascular medicine, Laurens is driven by the desire to improve patients' quality of life and excels in data analysis and communicating complex scientific information. Previously, Laurens held roles such as Medical Advisor Cardiorenal at Bayer and was an intern at UMC Utrecht. Laurens also owned Privésommelier from 2009 to 2022 and worked as a physician at Ziekenhuis Rivierenland Tiel. Educated at Utrecht University, Laurens has obtained an MD and continues to pursue certifications in wine education.
