Libby Barksdale

Libby Barksdale is a seasoned professional in the fields of regulatory policy and science, currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Regulatory Policy & Strategy for Oncology at Eli Lilly and Company since August 2025. Previously, Libby held various roles at organizations such as the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) and the American Association for Cancer Research, contributing to science policy analysis and regulatory affairs. Libby’s experience includes leadership positions in regulatory affairs at LUNGevity Foundation and the Biotechnology Innovation Organization, as well as a postdoctoral fellowship at the NIH's Intramural Research Program. Libby earned a PhD in Neuroscience from The George Washington University and a BS in Biology from Hope College.
