Marie Murphy is the Executive Director of TSMS Microbiological Control and Viral Safety for Commercial Biotech Supply at Eli Lilly and Company, a position held since 2021. They previously served as a Principal Research Scientist within the Technical Services Manufacturing Network at Eli Lilly from 2007 to 2023. Marie began their career as a Technical Scientist at EiRx Therapeutics from 2000 to 2003 and then continued as a Technical Scientist/Leader at Schering Plough, Brinny from 2003 to 2007. They earned a Ph.D. in Virology from Trinity College, Dublin, after obtaining a B.S. in Microbiology from University College Cork.
