Matthew Schmidt

Matthew Schmidt, PharmD, is currently the Senior Director of Regulatory Strategy at Eli Lilly and Company and Verve Therapeutics. They have extensive experience in regulatory affairs, having held roles such as Associate Program Director and Post-Doctoral Fellow at Genentech, and Director of Regulatory Strategy at Verve Therapeutics. Previously, Matthew served as a Clinical Trial Intern at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and a Global Research & Development Strategy Extern at Sanofi. They earned their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Northeastern University and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Rutgers University.
