Mike Prothero

Mike Prothero has extensive experience in process engineering and project management within the biopharmaceutical and engineering sectors. Currently serving as an Advisor in Process Engineering at Eli Lilly and Company since September 2003, Mike leads projects related to commercial and clinical biopharmaceutical production in a multi-product GMP facility. Prior to this role, Mike worked at Amersham Biosciences (now Cytiva) as a Project/Process Engineer, focusing on the design and testing of purification equipment. Earlier positions include Project Engineer at New Brunswick Scientific, Technical Service Engineer at Nissei America, Inc., and Engineer at Foster Wheeler, providing comprehensive expertise in bioreactor design, customer service for machinery, and combustion equipment for power plants. Mike Prothero holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Bucknell University and Rutgers University, respectively.
