Mike Shaffer

Mike Shaffer is the Director of LRL Learning & Development at Eli Lilly and Company, where they lead learning oversight for multiple departments and oversee learning design strategies and technology teams. With a strong background in instructional design, learning technologies, and performance consulting, Mike has successfully implemented learning programs that drive efficiency and improve employee onboarding experiences. They have also served as a City Councilman for the City of Fostoria, providing leadership and guidance on legislation affecting the community. Mike's earlier roles include positions at Marathon Petroleum Corporation, where they focused on eLearning initiatives and instructional design, as well as experience in digital design through their ownership of Media Rock, LLC. Mike holds a Master’s degree in Educational Technology from The University of Findlay.
