Nate Yoder

Nate Yoder is a membrane protein structural biologist and biochemist with a strong background in ion channel structural biology and cryo-electron microscopy. They completed a Ph.D. in Neuroscience at Oregon Health & Science University, where their research focused on the gating and modulation of acid-sensing ion channels. As a Merck & Co Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, they worked under the mentorship of Dr. David Julius. Currently, they serve as a Scientific Lead in structural biology at Eli Lilly and Company. Additionally, they hold undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Physiology from Michigan State University.
