Nicholas Kunz

Nicholas Kunz is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and patent law. Currently serving as Senior Director - Patent Counsel for Neuroscience at Eli Lilly and Company since January 2024, Nicholas previously held the position of Senior IP Counsel at Corteva Agriscience from February 2018 to December 2023, where responsibilities included advising on patentability assessments, global portfolio strategy, and licensing agreements in the agricultural chemical and biotech sectors. Prior experience includes roles as an Associate Patent Attorney at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP, focusing on patent prosecution and counseling, and as an Associate Attorney at Snell & Wilmer, where involvement encompassed commercial litigation and patent prosecution. Nicholas began the legal career as an Associate at Oliff & Berridge, PLC and holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and a B.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University.
