Percy Chen

Percy Chen, Ph.D., is a structural biologist specializing in protein science with over five years of experience in drug development. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Eli Lilly and Company, they focus on global protein production and labeling for various projects and contribute to the development of proprietary structures for SAR analysis. Previously, Percy held positions at Morphic Therapeutic, where they engineered and optimized protein targets, and at the University of California San Diego, where they built an independent crystallography facility. They earned their Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they also solved numerous enzyme structures and led collaborative data collections. Percy began their academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from National Taiwan University.
