Ping Chen

Ping (Vicky) Chen is a highly motivated scientist specializing in molecular and cellular biology, with a focus on gene therapy for rare and metabolic diseases as well as neuroscience. With a PhD from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, they have held positions as a Senior Scientist at AVROBIO, where they validated disease models and supported clinical trial safety evaluations, and as an Analytical Development Lead at ElevateBio, overseeing the lifecycle management of analytical assays. Chen's expertise includes AAV and lentiviral gene therapy, vectorology, and drug product characterization, demonstrated through high-impact publications and collaborative FDA submissions. Currently, they serve as a Senior Advisor in Analytical Development at Eli Lilly and Company.
