Qi Chen

Qi Chen is the Senior Director of Research at Eli Lilly and Company, a role they have held since 2022. With a strong background in computational chemistry and drug discovery, Qi has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having served as a Research Advisor at Eli Lilly from 2000 to 2022 and as a Scientist at Encysive Pharmaceuticals from 1997 to 2000. Qi completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco, specializing in structure-based drug design from 1994 to 1997. They earned a Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from Louisiana State University and a degree in Chemistry from Peking University.
