Ran Liao is an accomplished biostatistician with substantial experience in research and data analysis. At Indiana University School of Medicine, Ran focused on survival data and developed R packages and SAS macros for multivariate survival data analysis. Subsequently, at the Regenstrief Institute, Inc., Ran contributed to data analysis methodologies and supported data-driven decision-making. At Eli Lilly and Company, Ran progressed from Research Scientist to Senior Research Scientist, leading statistical efforts in pediatric and pragmatic trials while supporting Phase III clinical trials in autoimmune conditions and COVID-19 studies. Currently serving as a Sr. Advisor and Director in an international assignment in Cork, Ireland, Ran holds a PhD in Biostatistics from Indiana University and has received the Best Dissertation Award.
