Riley Olsen

Riley Olsen is currently a Principal Scientist in Process Chemistry at Eli Lilly, where they leverage extensive expertise in medicinal chemistry and synthetic methodologies. They previously served as a Senior Associate Scientist at Pfizer, focusing on the design and synthesis of small molecules for therapeutic applications, and as an Associate Scientist III at Codexis, Inc., working on enzyme-catalyzed oligonucleotide synthesis processes. Riley gained foundational research experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boise State University, where they designed novel small molecules to inhibit an inflammatory cytokine and mentored students. They earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree from Boise State University in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, respectively.
