Robbert Smet

Robbert Smet is an experienced communications and public affairs professional with a diverse background in the healthcare sector. Currently serving at Eli Lilly and Company since October 2024, Robbert leads corporate affairs initiatives focusing on key health issues like obesity and Alzheimer’s while enhancing advocacy through media relations and government engagement. Prior roles include Lead for Corporate and Public Affairs at &FLUENCE, Director of Corporate Affairs at Pfizer, and Director of Government and Public Affairs at Philips Benelux, where responsibilities encompassed stakeholder engagement and strategic relations. Additionally, Robbert contributed to the HOPE - European Hospital and Healthcare Federation as a Member of the President's Committee and Governor, offering insights on European healthcare systems.
