Ronit Phail

Ronit Phail is a Senior Director of External Innovation at Eli Lilly and Company, bringing over 20 years of experience in drug discovery and development within the pharmaceutical industry and academia. At Eli Lilly, Ronit leads the assessment of external opportunities and cultivates global networks across academia, biotech companies, and venture capital. Prior to current roles, Ronit served as the Director of the Molecular Biology Lab at Strelitz Diabetes Institute and held various leadership positions at Eli Lilly, focusing on project management and external innovation for diabetes and endocrine assets. Ronit earned a Ph.D. in Medical Sciences from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, followed by postdoctoral training in Molecular Biology at the University of California, San Francisco.
