Sam Esfandiari, PhD, is the Medical Director of Cardiometabolic Health at Eli Lilly Canada. They earned a Bachelor of Physical Education & Health and a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the University of Toronto, followed by a PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology. Previously, Sam served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Toronto, where they instructed numerous courses and facilitated educational discussions. They co-founded Bloom Tutoring, generating significant revenue while supporting students' academic achievements, and held various roles in clinical research, including Clinical Research Coordinator and Medical Science Liaison.
