Shanthi Sethuraman

Shanthi Sethuraman is a seasoned professional in the field of statistics and regulatory affairs, with extensive experience at Eli Lilly and Company from December 2005 to May 2022. Holding various leadership positions, including Senior Director of Global Statistical Sciences and Vice President of Global Statistical Sciences and Advanced Analytics, Shanthi has driven statistical strategy for therapeutic areas, supporting clinical drug development, manufacturing, and regulatory submissions. Other notable roles include Director of Regulatory Center of Excellence, where Shanthi established organizational frameworks for regulatory intelligence, and Head of Manufacturing Science and Technology-Statistics, responsible for implementing statistical methodologies and best practices in process improvements across small and large molecule processes. Shanthi earned a PhD in Statistics from Virginia Tech between 1991 and 1995.
