Shawn Yang

Shawn Yang is a Principal Mechanical Engineer at Eli Lilly and Company, where they focus on advanced engineering projects. Previously, they held positions as a Project Manager and Mechanical Engineer at Körber Technologies, successfully leading new automated machinery designs and managing international technical projects. Shawn served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where they instructed students and conducted research in mechanical engineering. Their earlier experience includes a role as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Tesla and a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Sunflux Inc. Shawn is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign while also working towards a Bachelor's Degree at the University of California, Berkeley.
