Staci Weaver, MS, PhD, has extensive experience in molecular biology and biochemistry, with a focus on agricultural biotechnology and medical research. From May 2014 to November 2017, Staci held various roles at Dow AgroSciences, including Lead Molecular Biologist, where responsibilities included overseeing molecular characterization of traits in canola and other crops, leading to published findings in Nature Plants. Prior to this, Staci contributed to cancer research at the Indiana University School of Medicine, validating drug targets in triple negative breast cancer and investigating type 1 diabetes under Dr. Carmella Evans-Molina. Staci's academic achievements include a PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Indiana University School of Medicine and degrees in Molecular Biology and Biology/Biotechnology from Ball State University. Currently, Staci serves as a Research Advisor at Eli Lilly and Company.
