Stephanie Colvin has extensive experience in scientific research and communications, spanning various prestigious institutions. Beginning as a Laboratory Technician at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis, Stephanie investigated the effects of alcohol exposure on the developing brain. Subsequent graduate research focused on a knock-in mouse model of the LHX3 gene mutation associated with pediatric combined pituitary hormone deficiency. Stephanie furthered expertise as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Indiana University School of Medicine, exploring the role of deoxyhypusine synthase in type 1 diabetes mellitus. At Eli Lilly and Company, Stephanie served as an Associate Consultant in Scientific Communications and a Clinical Research Scientist from 2014 to 2018. Currently, as a Co-Founder of Indy Science Connect since 2014, Stephanie continues to contribute to the scientific community. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Indiana University Bloomington and a Ph.D. in Biology from Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis.
