Steven Benner

Steven Benner, Ph.D., is currently the Director of Process Engineering at Eli Lilly and Company. They previously served as a Senior Data Scientist at Sanofi, providing modeling and data science support for biologics development. Prior to that, Steven was a Senior Scientist at Merck, where they focused on biologics downstream process development and engineering. They began their career as a Mathematical Biology Intern at Boehringer Ingelheim, developing pharmacodynamic models and simulations. Steven holds a Ph.D. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from North Carolina State University, where they also earned a Master's degree, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Penn State University.
