Steven Engle is a Senior Principal Scientist at Eli Lilly and Company, where they have focused on the development and application of in vitro screening tools for safety assessment. Previously, they worked as a Consultant Toxicologist, Associate Consultant Toxicologist, and Associate Biologist at Eli Lilly, contributing to drug safety and portfolio risk assessment. Engle also served as a Research Associate at the Indiana University School of Medicine and as Chair/Co-Chair for the Predictive Safety Testing Consortium's Cardiac Hypertrophy Working Group. They hold a Master’s degree in Biology from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University.
