Surendra Dawadi

Surendra Dawadi is a Senior Scientific Lead in Medicinal Chemistry at Lilly, where they currently focus on drug design and development. With a robust background in synthetic organic and medicinal chemistry, they have expertise in structure-based drug design, lead optimization, and in-vitro and in-vivo studies. Dawadi has held various positions, including Scientist at Loxo Oncology and Instructor at Baylor College of Medicine, and has completed a postdoctoral research position at the University of Minnesota. They earned a Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a Master of Science from Tribhuvan University.
