Thomas Irvin is currently the Senior Scientific Lead in Medicinal Chemistry at Loxo Oncology at Lilly. With a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Georgia, they have previously worked as an IRTA Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health, where they designed new treatments for opiate abuse. Their experience includes roles as an Associate Medicinal Chemist and Senior Scientist at Loxo Oncology, and they have also taught organic chemistry laboratory courses at Hamilton College.
