Thushara Gunasinghe

Thushara Gunasinghe is a Senior Principal Scientist at Eli Lilly, where they specialize in chemical entity characterization and method development. Previously, Thushara held positions as a Sr. Scientist I at Avista Pharma Solutions and as a Laboratory Manager at AMS International, where they supervised a team and enhanced processes for precious metal refinement. With a robust background in analytical chemistry, Thushara has also worked at prominent companies such as Novartis and Sandoz Pharmaceuticals, focusing on method validation and development while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Thushara earned a Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka.
