Tim Luker is the Vice President of Venture Science and Head of Corporate Business Development for Eli Lilly in West Coast USA, where they lead efforts to integrate innovative biomedical science into the company’s pipeline, having completed over 40 deals. Previously, Tim co-founded and directed Polleo Pharma Limited, guiding it through a successful acquisition. With extensive experience at AstraZeneca, Tim held various leadership roles, enhancing drug discovery efforts across multiple therapeutic areas. Tim has also served as a board observer for several stealth biotech startups and honed their scientific expertise through a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Southampton and postdoctoral research at the University of Amsterdam.
