Tom Greene

Tom Greene is an accomplished professional in the pharmaceutical industry with extensive experience in various roles. Beginning as a Chemist at TopChem Pharmaceuticals, Tom progressed to Laboratory Development Chemist and Technical Shared Service Chemist at GlaxoSmithKline from 2010 to 2011. Tom returned to GSK from December 2015 to October 2019, serving as an External API Expert and External Network Change Project Manager. Additionally, Tom held significant positions at Eli Lilly and Company from October 2022 to March 2025, including Associate Director and later Director of the Joint Process Team for API External Manufacturing. Tom's educational background includes a B.Sc. with First Class Honours from the University of Limerick, a Certificate of Advanced Study in Industrial Pharmaceutical Chemistry from Imperial College London, a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical & Medicinal Chemistry from Trinity College Dublin, and a Master of Science in Industrial Project Management with Distinction from the University of Birmingham.
