Johan Maricq

Johan Maricq is an experienced professional with a strong background in asset management and technology, currently serving as Product Lead at Elia Group since October 2007. In this role, Johan oversees AI initiatives and leads various innovation projects as Group Head of AI, Citizen Development, Open Source, Digital Workplace, IoT, and xR Lab. Additionally, Johan has worked as an International Consultant, focusing on technical governance in secondary systems, contributing to projects like the IEC61850 integration and substation LAN design. Previous roles include co-founding jukebox.clothes and managing asset management at Elia Grid International. Johan holds a Master’s degree in Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, and Telecommunication from Université catholique de Louvain and completed education at INSEAD in December 2022.
