Jonas Simons

Jonas Simons is an accomplished project leader at Elia Group since November 2024, bringing extensive experience in technical superintendent roles at DEME Group from December 2021 to November 2024. Jonas's responsibilities included overseeing maintenance and reclamation dredging projects at multiple ports in Africa, as well as coordinating technical operations and major repairs for vessels like the TSGD Victor Horta. Prior to this, Jonas worked as a design and test engineer at Infrabel, focusing on ETCS modification projects, and as a heating technician at Simons CV, specializing in central heating systems. Jonas holds a master's degree in Electromechanical Engineering Technology from KU Leuven - Group T Leuven Campus.
