Simon Serrarens

Simon Serrarens is currently the BRP and Real-time Markets Manager at Elia, where they are responsible for product management concerning Balance Responsible Parties. They previously served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, focusing on customer recommender systems as part of their PhD candidacy in Business Analytics & Statistics. Simon has also worked at Deloitte Belgium in various roles as a data scientist and as an experienced senior consultant specializing in energy and infrastructure solutions. They hold a Master of Science in Business Engineering: Data Analytics from Universiteit Gent and a Bachelor of Science in Business Engineering from the same institution.
