Stéphane GERMAIN

Stéphane Germain is an expert operational at Elia, specializing in maintenance assets and commissioning since 2008. They have held various leadership roles, including zone manager and expert manager in the technical governance expertise department, overseeing teams focused on high-voltage substations and overhead lines. Active in the BEC as chairman for commissions on conductors and towers, Stéphane also serves as a Belgian member of CIGRE, leading the Belgian Committee B2 for overhead lines. They obtained a Master's degree in Civil Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Université libre de Bruxelles, where they also worked as an assistant in the electrical engineering service.
