Stijn Van Loo is an experienced project leader with a focus on high voltage substations at Elia since October 2016, managing projects from definition through to execution. Prior experience includes serving as a Junior Project Lead at ACE ingenieurs- & adviesbureau and as a Nuclear Safety Advisor at ENGIE Electrabel, where contributions supported the improvement of nuclear safety at various installations. Stijn's academic background consists of a Master’s degree in Smart Grids and Buildings from Grenoble INP - Ense3 and a Master’s degree in Energy Engineering, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering from KU Leuven. Additionally, Stijn has experience as a tutor for students in math and physics and completed an internship focusing on smart grid technology at G2Elab.
