Tom Coppens

Tom Coppens is an experienced .NET Architect and Technical Architect at Elia Group since June 2025, while also serving as the Owner of T# BV since March 2025. Previously, Tom held roles as a Senior .NET Developer and Team Lead at both Energy One Limited from January 2022 to June 2025 and Energy One Belgium from September 2011 to June 2025. Early career experience includes a position as a Junior Internal Tooling Developer at Financial Architects, a Developer role at Inverto NV focusing on software for LED-walls and warehouse management systems, and as a Freelance Developer from 2007 to 2010. Tom earned a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics from HOGENT between 2007 and 2010, following a Latin-Math degree from Sint-Maarten Instituut Aalst from 2000 to 2006.
