Randolph Barrows has a strong background in health informatics. Randolph served as the Director of Health Informatics at Elimu Informatics starting in 2017. Prior to that, they held the same position at Meliorix from 2014 to 2017. Randolph also has experience as a Specialist Leader and Consultant at Deloitte from 2009 to 2011, and as a CMIO at MedAllies from 2007 to 2009. Randolph began their career as a Faculty in Medicine & Medical Informatics at Columbia University Medical Center in 1991, where they worked until 2007.
Randolph Barrows has a diverse education history. Randolph obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Physics from San Diego State University, where they studied from 1976 to 1979. Afterward, they attended UC San Diego and earned a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree between 1979 and 1983. Later, they pursued further education at Columbia University, completing a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from 1992 to 1995. Additionally, from 1991 to 1994, Barrows engaged in the NIH Fellowship Training Program, specializing in Medical Informatics at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
